Leo O. Larivee, age 74, of Cumberland Rhode Island passed away at home on Monday, May 17 while on hospice services. He was surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Diane (Lariviere) Larivee of 46 years.

He was the son of the late Joseph A. and Aurore Larivee.

Leo spent many years working in the construction industry and later for a medical supply company. He was faithfully dedicated to the Knights of Columbus of Central Falls where he served as Grand Knight, president of the Casey Club and other roles. He worked tirelessly to ease the hardships faced by many in the Central Falls community. Additionally, Leo was a member of the Saint Vincent De Paul Society.

Leo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his children; Laura Lafreniere, Linda and Michael Benoit, Lee-Ann and Michael Bruhn, Lisa and David Jencks, and Leslie and Jeffrey Towle as well as thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three brothers; Joseph R. "Raymond" Larivee, Roger Larivee, and Robert Larivee and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Theresa Turcotte, Virginia "Lillian" Richard, Normand Larivee, Girard Larivee, also by a son in law, Richard Lafreniere, and a great granddaughter, Catheryn Larivee Benoit.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, May 21st from 5pm until 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 22nd at 9am in Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Rd, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to any of the many charities that Leo so unselfishly helped.

Leo's family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hope Health for their loving, compassionate dedication.
